Training the Volunteers Programme

AKASHA is committed to training brand-new volunteers to inspire young people in today’s society to join the ranks of caring for society and self-growth, hoping to cultivate a healthier attitude towards life, and face their own life more positively to exert real influence.

The History of Training the Volunteers Programme

The training of AKASHA youth voluntary work can be traced back to the initial youth programme by Mr. Nandor Lim in 1997, and after it was officially implemented as the training course of “SEED Initiatives Youth Programme” in 2001. A caring society gradually formed in the AKASHA learning circle, the motivation to grow life, a long-term plan to be launched of the “Youth Training” project in order to better integrate the needs of the times, the “Training the Volunteers” starts from cognitive and life science, guiding volunteer workers to truly “see” themselves, “face” themselves, “heal” themselves and “reconcile” with themselves. Everyone should learn to ask, are you part of the social problem, or part of the solution? Let your own life become a tool to produce the ultimate goal of ing life with life, influencing life with life, and touching lives with life.

At present, AKASHA has cultivated two volunteer groups, the details are as follows:

  • The 1st AKASHA Volunteer Group (Seremban), founded in 2014
  • The 2nd AKASHA Volunteer Group (Butterworth), founded in 2016
